We are currently seeking a friendly and professional Concierge to join our team for weekend shifts from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. As the first point of contact for residents, guests, and vendors, the Concierge role is pivotal in providing a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere. This position involves a blend of hospitality services, light clerical work, and assistance with daily resident needs, making it a vital link in ensuring smooth and efficient community operations. The Concierge is responsible for greeting and assisting community members and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor, supporting residents with transportation, scheduling, personal shopping, and other special requests as needed. Additionally, conducting community tours for prospective residents and guests is an important part of this role to help showcase the caring environment Jaybird creates.
Beyond resident interaction, the Concierge assists with meal delivery, dining services, and the setup of hydration stations, contributing to the overall wellness and comfort of those we serve. Managing resident mail, packages, and performing clerical duties such as faxing, mailing, and other document management tasks are integral responsibilities that support operational effectiveness. In emergency situations, the Concierge responds promptly, submits maintenance work orders, and ensures community security awareness by adhering to concierge desk guidelines.
This position also offers opportunities to participate in internal and external marketing events, in-service training, and staff development sessions, promoting continual growth and engagement within the team. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of customer service experience preferably in senior living or hospitality
- ability to lift up to 10 lbs
- ability to walk, stand, and perform light clerical duties
- proficiency with basic computer applications including Microsoft Office
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain professionalism under pressure

Job Duties
