Job Description

Brookfield Properties is a leading real estate company renowned for its commitment to providing diverse and high-quality residential living options. With an extensive portfolio encompassing more than 600 locations, over 1500 buildings, and more than 280 million square feet of real estate worldwide, Brookfield Properties prides itself on catering to residents at every stage of life. The company fundamentally believes in customizing living experiences rather than offering a one-size-fits-all solution, ensuring each property delivers unparalleled quality, exceptional service, and comprehensive support to all its residents. This commitment has cemented Brookfield Properties’ reputation as a reliable and resident-centric organization in the property management sector.

The Bellslip, located at 1 Bell Slip, is one of the distinguished properties managed by Brookfield Properties, offering an upscale residential environment focused on resident satisfaction and community engagement. As part of their ongoing efforts to maintain excellent service standards, Brookfield Properties is seeking a dedicated Concierge to join their team at The Bellslip. This full-time position offers a competitive wage ranging from $22.33 to $29.78 per hour, along with eligibility for supplemental benefits wage and a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, 401(k) company matching, and exclusive rental discounts for associates living on-site.

The Concierge role centers around providing exemplary service to residents and visitors alike, managing the building’s entrance, monitoring access and ensuring a secure, welcoming environment. The successful candidate will act as the friendly face of the property, greeting all guests and residents warmly, assisting with inquiries, and facilitating an overall positive experience within the community. Responsibilities extend to maintaining up-to-date information on available services and events in the surrounding city, making reservations for dinners, theaters, and recreational activities, and actively engaging with residents through organized social programs such as movie nights and game evenings.

Moreover, the Concierge serves as an essential liaison between residents and service contractors, coordinating requests effectively and ensuring timely completion of maintenance and other property-related tasks. Communication skills are vital in this role, as it involves addressing resident questions and concerns promptly and resolving issues or escalating them to appropriate associates as needed. The Concierge also supports residents by managing package deliveries and keeps communal areas, such as lobby bulletin boards, current with relevant information that fosters community interaction.

This position requires a candidate with strong customer service aptitude, adaptability, initiative, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ideal candidates possess 1-2 years of experience in concierge or hospitality roles and hold at least a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for those carrying an associate degree in Concierge or Hospitality – Customer Service fields. Depending on property needs, a valid driver’s license may be required.

Working at Brookfield Properties means joining a dynamic and diverse team dedicated to exceeding the expectations of tenants, residents, and communities. Employees benefit from a supportive environment that values well-being and work-life balance, with ample opportunities for professional growth and advancement. Brookfield Properties emphasizes equal opportunity employment and a drug-free workplace, welcoming applicants from various backgrounds and identities. Joining the team at The Bellslip as a Concierge offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving residential community and develop a rewarding career within a globally recognized real estate leader.
