This long-term contract opportunity invites you to become the essential first point of contact for all employees and visitors, where your role will extend beyond traditional reception duties to include overseeing lobby operations and managing event-related logistics. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for ensuring that the lobby area is not only clean and inviting but also that services such as conference room bookings and event setups are executed flawlessly.

In this capacity, you will also handle day-to-day issues related to building services, including janitorial coordination, mailroom functions, copier machine management, parking arrangements, and badging services. Your ability to act as a reliable information resource regarding the campus and building operations will be crucial, helping to resolve inquiries swiftly and accurately.

Collaboration with other team members to maintain smooth operational flow and exceptional customer service is another critical aspect of this role. You will be expected to anticipate the needs of clients proactively and resolve any concerns before they escalate, thereby ensuring an outstanding level of satisfaction. Beyond these duties, supporting administrative tasks such as document scanning and organizing transportation will also form part of your daily responsibilities.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a concierge or front desk role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Basic computer skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Professional demeanor and appearance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Serve as the initial point of contact, warmly greeting and assisting visitors, employees, and guests
  • Coordinate conference room bookings and oversee setup and breakdown for events
  • Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere
  • Address and resolve issues related to building services, such as janitorial tasks, mailroom operations, copier services, parking, and badging
  • Act as an information resource for the campus, building, or area, providing accurate and timely responses to inquiries
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and a high level of service
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively address concerns to ensure satisfaction
