Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in a customer-facing hospitality role preferred
- excellent verbal communication skills
- ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- friendly and professional demeanor
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- willingness to adhere to company standards and policies
Job Qualifications
- Experience in customer service or hospitality
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to remain calm and solution-oriented under pressure
- knowledge of restaurant operations and reservation systems preferred
- passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- ability to work effectively as part of a team
- willingness to learn and grow within the role
Job Duties
- Warmly greet and seat guests in the restaurant
- answer telephones, take orders, messages and reservations
- work proactively to provide a unique experience by getting to know guests during the reservation process
- ensure the overall guest experience exceeds expectations and anticipate guests’ needs
- use tact and good judgement when dealing with guest challenges and respond to guest needs with patience and courtesy
- assist with clearing, cleaning and resetting tables and maintain restrooms
- understand and respond knowledgeably to questions about the restaurant and menu
