Job Description

Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior living services, dedicated to empowering residents to live longer, healthier, and happier lives. Recognized repeatedly as a Great Place to Work, Sunrise focuses on fostering a positive workplace culture where employees can grow personally and professionally. The organization prides itself on meaningful relationships, not only among residents and their families but also among team members, creating a supportive community atmosphere. Sunrise Senior Living offers a work environment where passion meets purpose, enabling employees to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors every day. The company prioritizes the health and safety of residents and staff, adhering strictly to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and requiring necessary vaccinations in compliance with health mandates.

The Concierge position at Sunrise of Cuyahoga Falls is a vital role, often serving as the first point of contact for many prospective residents, families, and visitors. This role demands a warm and welcoming demeanor combined with efficient administrative and customer service skills. The Concierge manages the community's front desk and bistro areas, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere with refreshments, cleanliness, and ambient music. As the liaison for potential residents and applicants, the Concierge supports the Director of Sales and Executive Director by providing community information and aiding in recruitment and move-in processes through data entry and other administrative tasks.

The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including greeting and assisting visitors, managing telephone communications, scheduling appointments, and supporting marketing and sales efforts by handling inquiries and maintaining inventories of marketing materials. In addition to customer service, the Concierge plays an essential part in risk management by ensuring safety protocols, managing resident and team member rosters, and actively participating in safety programs and emergency responses.

Administrative duties include handling mail distribution, meal ticket management, office supply monitoring, and record-keeping related to residents and community operations. The position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and strong communication skills. The Concierge also contributes to team success by engaging in training, team meetings, and adherence to the company’s Principles of Service and Core Values.

Sunrise offers a competitive compensation package with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans, retirement savings options, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and programs that support work-life balance such as myFlexPay. The company also demonstrates its commitment to employee growth and satisfaction through discretionary bonuses and ongoing training opportunities.
