Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • able to read, write, and understand English
  • able to follow instructions
  • able to remain calm in emergency situations

  • experience with Microsoft software

  • ability to walk and stand continuously
  • able to work indoors and outdoors

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • able to read, write, and understand English
  • able to follow written or oral instructions
  • able to make independent decisions and remain calm in emergencies
  • professional demeanor with personnel, residents, family, visitors, and the public
  • knowledgeable of administrative practices and processes
  • experience using computer software including Microsoft programs
  • patience, professionalism, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
  • ability to handle interactions with residents, staff, and visitors of varying maturity levels

Job Duties

  • Greet visitors seeking information about the property
  • respond to needs of people in the building
  • direct visitors to appropriate office or resident apartment
  • assist residents, family members, and guests with general requests
  • arrange tours of the property for visitors
  • answer telephones and record information
  • display knowledge of services, programs, and property information
  • manage mail processing including sorting and distributing property mail
  • maintain reception area neatness and ensure current property literature is available
  • keep lobby refreshments fresh and accessible
  • perform clerical duties as directed
  • assist in dining room serving resident meals as requested
  • support marketing efforts through positive interaction during tours and phone contacts
  • communicate changes in resident condition to supervisors
  • maintain a safe work environment
  • encourage teamwork with co-workers
  • support a positive and professional image through actions and dress
  • perform other duties as assigned
