Job Description
Kisco Senior Living is a premier organization dedicated to creating exceptional living experiences for seniors, fostering both a comfortable and supportive community environment and a rewarding workplace for its associates. With over 30 years of experience and a dynamic, award-winning presence in the senior living industry, Kisco Senior Living is widely recognized for its commitment to high-quality care, innovative programs, and compassionate service tailored to the unique needs of its residents. The company focuses on providing safe, engaging, and enriching environments that promote wellness and independence among its senior residents. This commitment extends to creating a positive, inclusive workplace culture that values employee growth, customer service excellence, and community connection.
The role of the Front Desk Representative at Kisco Senior Living is a vital part of fostering this welcoming atmosphere. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, specifically Thursday from 2:30pm to 10:30pm and Friday and Saturday from 6:30am to 2:30pm, with a competitive hourly pay rate ranging between $19 and $19.40. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in roles that require strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to resident and guest service. The Front Desk Representative acts as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service that sets the tone for the community’s atmosphere as warm, secure, and friendly.
Key responsibilities include monitoring resident and guest access, assisting residents with their requests, answering incoming calls, maintaining the tidiness and organization of the front desk and entrance areas, and responding promptly and effectively to emergencies by coordinating with emergency personnel. This comprehensive interaction with residents and guests requires a person who is attentive, empathetic, and capable of managing multiple communication channels and administrative tasks with poise.
Candidates suitable for this role will bring excellent customer service skills paired with relevant experience ranging from six months to one year in front desk, receptionist, or resident relations roles. While a high school diploma or GED is preferred, additional experience in senior living or hotel environments is considered advantageous, reflecting the importance of hospitality and care experience in this position. Familiarity with various technologies, including Microsoft Office applications and internet-based programs, is necessary to handle the daily administrative duties effectively.
This opportunity not only offers competitive pay but also includes valuable benefits such as a free meal per shift, healthcare options including vision and dental for full-time employees, matching 401(k) plans, paid time off, and opportunities for rewards, bonuses, and continuous training for professional development. Prospective employees are required to undergo and pass a pre-employment process including a drug screening, a job-specific physical, tuberculosis testing, and a background check—all costs covered by the company.
By joining Kisco Senior Living as a Front Desk Representative, individuals can expect to contribute to a meaningful mission while enjoying a supportive workplace that is committed to excellence, respect, and growth. This role is ideal for those seeking a part-time opportunity within a respected, stable company that values integrity, community, and dedicated service to senior residents.
