Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree
- one to three years related experience and/or training
- basic First Aid and CPR certification where required
- ability to work various schedules and shifts
- ability to operate telephone and emergency call system
- ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions
- ability to perform basic math operations
- good communication skills
- reliable and customer service oriented
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- basic First Aid and CPR certification where required
- successful completion of all Atria specified training programs
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- ability to write simple correspondence
- effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
- ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables
- ability to work various schedules and shifts as needed
- able to operate telephone, emergency call system, monitoring board or beeper, and photocopier
Job Duties
- Serves as point of contact for all resident requests and telephone calls except emergencies
- coordinates services for residents and their family members
- maintains high standards of customer service
- answers questions about local stores, attractions, and services
- ensures lobby and common areas are clean and welcoming
- coordinates community transportation schedule
- serves as liaison between dining room and residents
- may supervise front desk reception staff and drivers
- may drive company vehicle when required
- may perform other duties as assigned
