The Concessions Supervisor role at Sodexo, based at Hard Rock Stadium, is an exciting part-time position offering a competitive pay range of $16 to $18 per hour. This role is integral to the smooth and efficient operation of concessions during event-based activities. The supervisor is responsible for overseeing concession stands, kiosks, portable locations, and autonomous retail concepts, ensuring that guest services run seamlessly and meet the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and operational compliance. Working within fast-paced, high-volume event settings, the Concessions Supervisor will provide onsite leadership, balancing staffing needs, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.

This position requires close collaboration with frontline teams to maintain speed of service and to resolve any issues promptly, fostering a positive and enjoyable guest experience. The supervisor is also charged with conducting pre-shift meetings to align menus, assignments, and service expectations, supporting the onboarding and training of new staff members, and adapting to the dynamic needs of various events. The role demands physical stamina to handle lifting and moving of concession-related materials while demonstrating punctuality and reliability. The Concessions Supervisor is a pivotal link between staff and management, facilitating communication and operational excellence to deliver an outstanding concessions experience that aligns with Sodexo's commitment to quality and service excellence.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in concessions, food service, or event-based operations required
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to supervise alcohol sales based on local and state regulations
  • Must maintain valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification
  • Compliance with state-specific alcohol training requirements
  • Food handler certification may be required
  • Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to work varying shifts with open availability preferred
  • Punctuality and reliability in attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

  • Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to supervise alcohol sales based on local and state regulations
  • Must maintain a valid TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures), TEAM (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management), or equivalent alcohol-service certification
  • Comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements
  • Food handler certification may be required based on state or local regulations

Job Duties

  • Oversee concession stands, kiosks, portable locations, and walk-out or autonomous retail stores as applicable
  • Assign staff to concession locations and adjust coverage based on volume and operational needs
  • Conduct pre-event or pre-shift briefings to review expectations, menus, service standards, and assignments
  • Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues to management as needed
  • Support onboarding and training of concession staff and leads
  • Frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business and client needs
