The Concessions Manager position at Aramark is a dynamic management role focused on developing and implementing effective dining solutions tailored to meet diverse customer needs and preferences. This role oversees dining operations where customers order prepared foods from a menu, ensuring a seamless, enjoyable experience for each guest. The Concessions Manager is instrumental in leading a team, managing financial performance, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

In this role, you will use Aramark's coaching model to engage and develop team members, recognizing their contributions and helping them reach their full potential. You will be responsible for ensuring individual and team performance align with both organizational objectives and client expectations. Leading daily team briefings, you will promote communication and align operational goals. A critical component of the role is managing client relationships by identifying their needs and communicating progress effectively.

Financial acumen is essential, as you will manage profit and loss statements, deliver financial targets for both the client and the company, and utilize Aramark's systems to understand and improve business metrics related to performance, orders, and inventory. Driving productivity through efficient operations, cost control, and adherence to food and labor initiatives is vital. You will supervise the team to ensure quality production and control standards are met consistently.

Safety and compliance form the backbone of operational excellence. You will maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers, and employees by following all relevant policies, rules, and regulations, including those related to health, safety, wage, and hour laws. Additional responsibilities include planning and coordinating food service activities to deliver exceptional products to customers.

Job Requirements

  • Education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2-3 years of food service experience
  • 2-3 years of food service management experience
  • strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • ability to maintain effective client relationships
  • excellent customer service skills
  • capacity for physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods
  • ability to work flexible, event-based schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of food service experience
  • at least 2-3 years of experience in a food service management role
  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model
  • ability to maintain effective working relationships with other departments for a unified food service experience
  • occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds
  • capability to stand for extended periods and walk frequently
  • availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
