Job Description

Delaware North Sportservice is a prominent hospitality and food service company that operates concessions, premium dining, and restaurants at Truist Park, the iconic home of Major League Baseball's Atlanta Braves since 2016. Situated in Atlanta, Georgia, Truist Park is a state-of-the-art 41,500-seat venue, making it an exciting and lively workplace for individuals passionate about the sports and entertainment industry. Delaware North is a family-owned global company with over 100 years of history, offering not only jobs but career growth paths in various sectors such as sports, gaming, operations, retail, restaurants, and hotels. They pride themselves on creating excellent guest experiences in great places and fostering a supportive environment for their team members to thrive professionally and personally.

The company is currently hiring a seasonal Bartender to join their dynamic team at Truist Park. This seasonal position is specifically aligned with the baseball season, beginning in March and running through October, with potential extensions if the team makes the playoffs. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, exciting environments where every game day brings new energy and opportunities. As a Bartender, you will have a critical role in enhancing the guest experience by responsibly serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The bartender position is tipped, meaning while the base pay starts at $6.75 per hour, additional income can be earned through tips, further augmenting overall compensation.

This role demands more than just the ability to mix drinks; it requires a commitment to service excellence, adherence to safety and compliance policies, and the ability to work efficiently during high-volume events. Bartenders at Delaware North engage directly with guests, fulfilling drink orders, managing payments, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that all services comply with legal alcohol service standards. The company provides a comprehensive benefits package tailored to support the well-being of its team members, including weekly pay, flexible schedules, training opportunities, employee discounts, and eligibility for health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) plans, paid vacations, parental leave, and tuition reimbursements for eligible employees.

Joining Delaware North as a Bartender at Truist Park offers more than a seasonal job; it presents the chance to be part of a historic global legacy in hospitality. This role is perfect for those who have at least two years of bartending experience, specifically in high-volume environments such as stadiums, arenas, or festivals. Prospective candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess skills in handling credit card transactions and point of sale systems. The physical demands of the job include constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, repetitive motion, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, often amid high environmental noise typical of a busy stadium atmosphere.

At Delaware North, the focus is on community, career growth, and delivering top-tier service in unique, high-energy venues. Whether you are looking for part-time or full-time employment, this seasonal Bartender role offers an unmatched experience working in one of the premier sports venues in the United States while being supported by the infrastructure and culture of a company that cares deeply about its people and their development. Be part of a team dedicated to providing great times in great places and help shape the future of hospitality by bringing your energy, expertise, and passion to Truist Park this season.
