Job Description
Oak View Group (OVG) is the global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, founded in 2015. With a platform encompassing venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales, OVG serves a diverse portfolio of seven world-class owned venues and numerous iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. OVG is committed to delivering exceptional experiences through innovative venue operations and best-in-class service, making it a top employer in the live entertainment industry.
The Arvest Convention Center (ACC), located in the Arena District of downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, is one of the premier venues managed by OVG. With over 275,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, the ACC has been a staple in the Tulsa community for over 50 years, owned by the City of Tulsa and known for hosting a vast range of events from conventions and trade shows to concerts and community gatherings. The ACC prides itself on state-of-the-art amenities, award-winning service, and a commitment to guest satisfaction, drawing visitors from across the region and the world.
The Concessions Bartender role at the Arvest Convention Center is a part-time position that offers an hourly wage ranging from $8.00 to $10.25 plus tips, with a focus on delivering excellent beverage service both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. This position demands professionalism, strong customer service skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The bartender is a key frontline ambassador for the venue, responsible not only for crafting and serving drinks but also for ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and company policies related to alcohol service. In addition to the hourly pay and tips, part-time employees are eligible for benefits including a 401(k) savings plan with matching.
As a Concessions Bartender at the ACC, you will be expected to maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while providing prompt, courteous service. You will handle cash and POS transactions accurately, check IDs diligently to comply with legal requirements, and manage guest interactions with tact and professionalism — including intervening in situations involving intoxicated or disruptive guests. This role offers an opportunity to grow within a prestigious global entertainment company known for its commitment to employee development and guest satisfaction. The Concessions Bartender will also contribute to the overall event experience, helping to ensure that every visitor enjoys a memorable and positive time at the Arvest Convention Center. This position will remain open through October 30, 2026, and requires flexibility to work varied event schedules as needed.
