The Bartender role at Aramark is vital to delivering outstanding guest service from the moment patrons arrive until they depart. This position involves preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to guest requests, including the crafting of mixed drinks, wine pouring, and beer serving. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous bartending experience preferred
  • ability to obtain Aramark and state/local required alcohol service certifications
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to multitask and maintain accuracy
  • physical ability to lift up to 25 lb
  • availability for flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a bartender preferred
  • knowledge of bartending principles and recipes
  • knowledge of current beverage trends
  • able to obtain required alcohol service certifications
  • excellent guest service and interpersonal skills
  • organizational and multitasking skills
  • accuracy and attention to detail
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting 25 lb
  • ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet guests and take orders
  • process cash and credit card transactions
  • mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • adhere to alcohol service policies and check identification
  • follow cash handling policies
  • set up and break down workstations including cleaning
  • take inventory counts and stock products
  • provide excellent guest service and anticipate guest needs
  • maintain positive demeanor towards guests and co-workers
  • ensure security of company assets
  • perform other duties as assigned by manager
