Job Description

FarmaKeio is a pioneering healthcare company that specializes in custom compounding pharmacy services, dedicated to revolutionizing traditional medical treatments by addressing the root causes of health issues rather than merely masking symptoms. Known for its innovative approach to medicine, FarmaKeio develops personalized pharmaceutical formulas designed to restore balance, vitality, and enable patients to live healthier, fuller lives. As a forward-thinking establishment in the pharmaceutical industry, FarmaKeio offers comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, competitive salaries, and a work environment that emphasizes work-life balance and professional growth.

The role of a Compounding Pharmacy Technician at FarmaKeio is essential in supporting the company's mission to transform healthcare through precision and personalized medication. This position involves preparing, weighing, and compounding customized medications following stringent safety and quality guidelines. Reporting directly to the Pharmacist in Charge and working collaboratively with pharmacists, the technician handles key operational tasks such as processing compounding paperwork, maintaining the pharmacy workspace and equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws. The technician plays a vital role in patient care by maintaining effective communication with patients and healthcare providers and assisting with medication shipping processes.

A Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician at FarmaKeio is seen as an integrative part of the healthcare team, skilled in the art and science of pharmaceutical compounding. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adhere to regulatory standards while preparing compounded medications that meet individualized treatment plans. The technician contributes significantly to the patient experience by delivering tailored pharmaceutical solutions that uphold the company’s philosophy of treating the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a typical work schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. FarmaKeio emphasizes professional development and offers a competitive salary exceeding industry benchmarks, overtime eligibility, annual and sign-on bonus potential, along with a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching to support employees' long-term financial goals. With 8 company-paid holidays and 2 to 4 weeks of paid time off based on tenure, FarmaKeio fosters a supportive workplace culture where employees can thrive both inside and outside of work.

Those who excel in this role are those who possess a combination of technical expertise in sterile compounding, legal and regulatory knowledge, and a passion for contributing to meaningful healthcare advancements. At FarmaKeio, the Compounding Pharmacy Technician is empowered to innovate and implement custom pharmaceutical solutions, supporting providers and patients alike in their journeys toward holistic health and wellness.
