Job Qualifications
- College coursework in related field helpful

Job Duties
- Attend daily Highgate Hotel Business Review meeting
- develop a full working knowledge of the hotel operations including Food and Beverage, Guest Services and Reservations
- enforce company sales policies and SOPs
- meet or exceed sales goals
- operate sales department within budget
- participate in M.O.D and Saturday office coverage
- initiate and follow up on sales leads
- maintain an active sales solicitation program
- monitor top account production and market trends
- regularly contact existing accounts
- meet sales solicitation call goals
- invite clients for entertainment, lunches, tours and site inspections
- assist in special sales promotions
- prepare required reports timely
- maximize occupancy and average daily rate
- conduct professional site inspections with clients
- manage hotel business using computerized sales systems
- meet and greet onsite contacts
- adhere to Prime Selling Time
- develop networking through community and professional events
- review meeting planner evaluations
