Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience in community engagement, event coordination, or grassroots marketing preferred
- Ability to lift and transport event materials up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver’s license and insured personal vehicle required
- Willingness to work flexible, non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends
- Comfortable working independently in the field while staying aligned with internal team goals
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of relevant experience in community engagement, event coordination, or grassroots marketing preferred
- Experience with event planning and logistics management
- Strong communication and public speaking skills
- Proficiency with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Nextdoor, and knowledge of emerging social media
- Experience with tools such as Canva, HubSpot, Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse community groups
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Proven track record of successful community outreach and marketing campaign execution
Job Duties
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with community organizations, municipal leaders, and local stakeholders to promote Greenlight Networks
- Plan, coordinate, and host community events that drive brand awareness and customer acquisition including neighborhood open houses, educational webinars, pop-up events, and community sponsorship activations
- Represent Greenlight Networks at community meetings, local events, town halls, homeowner association meetings, and networking functions to generate interest and support for services
- Develop and work collaboratively with the marketing team to execute region-specific social media strategies that increase engagement, drive sign-ups and service orders, and highlight community involvement
- Serve as a confident public speaker and brand advocate at both in-person and virtual events
- Identify local marketing opportunities including grassroots campaigns, partnerships, and sponsorships that align with company goals
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand positioning
- Monitor community sentiment, feedback and engagement, reporting insights that can enhance outreach strategies
- Execute tactical marketing efforts such as door-to-door engagement, distribution of promotional materials, and localized email or digital campaigns
- Work with internal teams to develop, implement and execute go-to-market campaigns to increase customer base
