Job Description

WeWork is a global leader in flexible workspace solutions, operating across more than 37 countries worldwide. The company is at the forefront of transforming the future of work by creating workspaces that foster creativity, productivity, and collaboration among businesses of all sizes. With a commitment to building a thriving global community, WeWork provides its members with more than just office space; it offers an environment where ideas can flourish and connections can grow. The company prides itself on delivering exceptional support to its members, ensuring they have the resources and space needed to succeed in today’s dynamic business landscape.

As a Community Lead at WeWork, you play a crucial role in elevating the member experience at your assigned location. Reporting daily to your building, you are responsible for maintaining WeWork’s global standards and addressing members’ needs with precision and care. Your efforts directly contribute to fostering a vibrant community by facilitating meaningful interactions among members, organizing engaging events tailored to members’ interests, and creating an inviting atmosphere for all members and their guests. This role is pivotal in supporting both individual members and enterprise clients, tailoring services to meet the specific dynamics of the location.

The Community Lead is tasked with driving membership engagement and retention by conducting regular check-ins and personalized conversations to maximize the value members receive from their WeWork membership. You will proactively anticipate member needs, address concerns promptly through effective issue resolution, and ensure all feedback, especially negative experiences, are thoroughly managed and used to improve service delivery. Furthermore, part of your responsibilities includes supporting front desk operations and ensuring seamless move-in and move-out processes, complete with orientation and welcome materials that ease members into their new work environments.

In addition to member engagement, this role involves planning and hosting social events to strengthen the sense of community within the workspace and managing event logistics to meet operational standards. You will also oversee building operations by conducting morning walkthroughs, liaising with cleaning services, managing inventory such as keycards, and communicating policies clearly to members. Safety and security are paramount, requiring you to understand emergency action plans and respond swiftly to incidents. The position also supports sales efforts by conducting building tours for prospective members and facilitating growth conversations to help retain and expand membership.

This full-time role offers a competitive base salary of $65,000 annually, alongside eligibility for an incentive compensation plan specific to the role. Comprehensive benefits include 20 days of paid time off, approximately 13 paid holidays, 80 hours of sick time, 16 weeks of paid parental leave, competitive healthcare coverage, a 401k plan, and life and AD&D insurance. At WeWork, employees are part of a diverse and inclusive community that values collaboration and innovation. The company is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to creating a workplace free from discrimination and welcoming to veterans and individuals with disabilities. Join WeWork as a Community Lead and be a key player in shaping the future of work while growing your career in an empowering, vibrant environment.
