CHWs need reliable transportation and a willingness to engage with a wide range of constituents across diverse cultural, ethnic, and social backgrounds. The ability to effectively communicate, manage multiple priorities, and exercise sound judgment is critical for success in this role. CVS Health offers a competitive hourly pay range from $18.50 to $38.82, which may include bonuses or incentives.\n\nBesides delivering direct support to socially and medically complex patients, CHWs influence healthcare interventions by advocating for adjustments based on members' cultural or religious preferences.
