Job Description
Core Spaces is a forward-thinking real estate investment manager that goes beyond traditional property management to focus on people and community. Established in 2010, Core Spaces specializes in acquiring, developing, and managing student housing and build-to-rent (BTR) residential communities across the United States. With a portfolio that currently includes over 74,440 student housing beds and a pipeline of more than 53,860 beds in various stages of development, along with over 3,000 BTR homes under various phases of leasing and development, Core has cemented its reputation as an industry leader. The company combines progressive design, hospitality-driven services, and world-class amenities to create innovative living spaces that redefine residential living standards.
At Core Spaces, the mission extends far beyond the buildings themselves. The company is committed to fostering a culture led by its six core values: PUSH (Invent Better Places to Live), GRIT (We Got This), LIFT (Help Each Other Win), SHINE (Bring Your Full Self), UPHOLD (Never Break Trust), and GROW (Always Get Better). These values shape every action and decision, ensuring a collaborative, innovative, and continuously improving environment that enhances the resident experience and supports employee growth.
The Community Concierge role at Core Spaces is essential in maintaining exceptional service standards and operational efficiency within the leasing office of a property. This position involves a multifaceted approach including conducting prospect tours, managing follow-up communications, contributing to marketing and resident retention initiatives, and handling overnight on-call duties. As the primary point of contact in the community, the Community Concierge embodies the company’s dedication to resident satisfaction and community engagement.
This role is designed for a flexible professional who can commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week, working onsite in shifts of at least three hours, including evenings, weekends, and additional hours as required. Responsibilities extend to supporting move-ins and move-outs during off-hours, coordinating resident events, executing marketing campaigns, curating content for social media, and upholding the Lifestyle by Core brand standards. The Community Concierge also plays an active role in fostering community partnerships, promoting the community at events, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
Ideal candidates are those with a high school diploma or equivalent, who demonstrate strong integrity, respect for others, and a commitment to company values. Experience in communication, project collaboration, and proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office and Google Suite is highly valued. The position demands physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds, maintaining balance, and standing for extended periods during property walks and events.
Working within a supportive culture that values diversity, inclusion, and employee well-being, Core Spaces offers competitive pay, generous paid time off, retirement benefits including 401(k) with matching and Roth options, and confidential support through an Employee Assistance Program. Employees benefit from a workplace where their voices are valued, their contributions recognized, and their personal and professional growth encouraged.
Joining Core Spaces means becoming part of a dynamic team focused on inventing the future of living by creating spaces where people not only reside but thrive. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual seeking to contribute meaningfully to a growing company that is rewriting the standards of residential living and community engagement.
