Job Description
Core Spaces (Core) is a forward-thinking real estate company that transcends the traditional boundaries of the real estate industry by focusing on people as much as properties. Founded in 2010, Core specializes in the acquisition, development, and management of residential communities, predominantly in the student housing and build-to-rent (BTR) sectors. Their portfolio currently includes over 59,000 student housing beds and is actively expanding with an impressive pipeline of over 50,930 beds under development. Likewise, the BTR division is vibrant, featuring over 3,000 homes either in development, available for leasing, or in the pipeline across high-growth metropolitan areas nationwide. This growth underscores Core’s ambition to redefine residential living through innovative designs, world-class amenities, and hospitality-inspired services, creating an elevated living experience for its residents.
Core’s corporate culture is deeply embedded in six core values: PUSH (Invent Better Places to Live), GRIT (We Got This), LIFT (Help Each Other Win), SHINE (Bring Your Full Self), UPHOLD (Never Break Trust), and GROW (Always Get Better). These values inform every decision and initiative, fostering a collaborative environment where risk-taking and dreaming big are encouraged to drive continuous innovation. The company prides itself on creating a work atmosphere where employees feel a real sense of belonging, have a voice, and are supported through various resources, including competitive pay, generous paid time off, and access to employee assistance programs and retirement plans.
The Community Concierge position at Core Spaces is pivotal in maintaining the seamless operation and vibrant community life within the leasing office and the larger property. This role is crafted for dynamic, adaptable professionals passionate about customer service and community building. As a Community Concierge, you will be responsible for conducting tours for prospective residents, following up with leads to optimize leasing opportunities, and implementing both internal and external marketing strategies. This includes planning and executing resident events, creating and managing social media content, and supporting partnership initiatives to enhance community engagement. You will also handle on-call duties during evenings or overnight to ensure resident needs and emergencies are addressed promptly.
The Community Concierge acts as the face and heart of the community, directly influencing resident satisfaction and retention. Beyond marketing and leasing activities, the role requires collaboration with the Community Manager on special projects and ongoing efforts to uphold Core’s Lifestyle brand standards. The position demands flexibility to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, including some evenings, weekends, and additional hours as necessary to support move-ins, move-outs, and turnovers.
Physically, the role involves various demands such as lifting objects up to 50 pounds, walking or standing for extended periods during community events, and performing routine tasks that require manual dexterity and visual acuity. The work environment is primarily an indoor office setting that is well-lighted and climate controlled, with occasional outdoor activities requiring mobility and stamina.
This part-time role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a company that values innovation, inclusivity, and continuous growth. Core Spaces celebrates diversity and equity, ensuring every employee feels valued and empowered to bring their authentic self to work. The Community Concierge role is not only about administrative tasks but about building relationships, fostering a sense of community, and helping shape the future of how people live, learn, and grow in residential spaces.
