This role is designed to support the property management team in achieving key occupancy and tenant retention goals by performing vital administrative tasks associated with leasing, marketing, and customer service at a community level. The position is particularly suited for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment, balancing direct tenant interactions with behind-the-scenes organizational responsibilities. The candidate will be responsible for a variety of duties including document management, communication with prospective and current residents, and coordination of leasing activities to help drive the community's revenue and occupancy objectives. This role offers a salary range of $16.00 to $18.00 per hour and involves flexible work hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Additionally, the position entails occasional responsibility for after-hours emergencies, requiring a proactive and responsive mindset. The role also emphasizes community engagement through marketing outreach and resident event coordination to foster a positive living environment. Physical demands include the ability to work under diverse weather conditions and perform light to moderate physical activities such as lifting and maneuvering objects, which reflects the role's active nature. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in leasing or property management preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods
  • Physical capacity to bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Flexible schedule including evening, weekend, and holiday availability
  • Commitment to working mandatory move-in and move-out events
  • Ability to take on-call shifts during evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in property management or leasing preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to conduct virtual and in-person tours effectively
  • Basic knowledge of property leasing and resident services
  • Proficiency with administrative tasks such as filing, document preparation, and phone handling
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Capability to respond promptly to resident emergencies during on-call shifts

Job Duties

  • Perform administrative tasks for the leasing office including copying documents, filing resident files, preparing notices, handling resident calls, and organizing rent payments and other collateral materials
  • Assist with sales and leasing activities by conducting virtual tours, responding to online inquiries, greeting and qualifying prospects, conducting property tours, and showing apartments
  • Assist with the lease preparation process by generating required lease paperwork and organizing resident lease files
  • Assist with move-in and move-out processes for residents including mandatory attendance during these events
  • Answer incoming calls and set appointments for prospects to tour the property
  • Perform on-campus marketing outreach to generate community awareness and qualified traffic
  • Assist with coordinating resident functions such as parties, birthday cards, unit visits, and other programs to enhance resident satisfaction
