Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum 3 years of bakery production experience
  • demonstrated leadership capability in a production environment
  • strong understanding of bakery production timelines, quality standards, and food safety
  • ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required

Job Duties

  • Assign, direct, and monitor the daily work of production staff within assigned areas
  • provide operational coverage and leadership when the Commissary Production Supervisor is not present
  • ensure production schedules, timelines, and delivery requirements are met
  • monitor staffing, workflow, and equipment utilization to maintain efficiency and output
  • escalate production, quality, staffing, or safety issues as needed
  • prepare and oversee the production of bakery products according to established recipes, quality standards, and production plans
  • project production needs for upcoming shifts and manage daily pars
