The North American Blueberry Council (NABC) and the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC) are influential, federally authorized commodity checkoff organizations committed to advancing and promoting the blueberry industry. These organizations play a pivotal role in expanding the market for blueberries across a wide array of sectors, including foodservice and food ingredients. Both councils operate with a vision to increase consumption, foster product innovation, and raise consumer awareness globally. Though they do not engage directly in selling products or managing customer accounts, they act as critical catalysts for driving category demand and creating growth opportunities that benefit blueberry growers and stakeholders across the supply chain.

As part of their efforts to enhance market growth and industry collaboration, NABC and USHBC are seeking a forward-thinking, innovative Commercial Director - Foodservice & Ingredient to lead a new national growth initiative. This strategic role is fully remote but requires residency within the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones and proximity to a major airport to support moderate travel demands. With an annual salary starting at $155,000 (negotiable depending on experience and qualifications) plus a comprehensive benefits package, this position offers an exceptional career opportunity for an entrepreneurial food industry professional.

The Commercial Director will spearhead efforts to expand the usage of blueberries within restaurant menus, ingredient formulations, and consumer packaged goods. Job Requirements
