Currently, Aramark is seeking full-time Coffee Baristas to join their vibrant team. The Barista will be responsible for preparing specialty coffee and tea beverages, assisting with food preparation, and delivering outstanding customer service to every guest. The position involves managing cash and credit transactions smoothly and efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and surrounding areas, and adhering strictly to health and safety standards to ensure food and beverage quality and safety.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Basic math skills
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Willingness to obtain or possess a valid Food Handling Certification
  • Adherence to company dress code and conduct policies
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Positive attitude and team player mindset

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience is an asset
  • Cash handling experience is encouraged
  • Basic mathematics skills are required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Fluency in English for reading, communication, and recipe comprehension
  • Food Handling Certification as per standards
  • Willingness to comply with dress code
  • Physical capability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for long periods
  • Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required

Job Duties

  • Manage a register/POS system to process cash and credit card payments efficiently and accurately
  • Greet customers warmly and anticipate their needs to provide excellent service
  • Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks according to brand standards
  • Properly prepare and present food items to uphold location standards
  • Maintain cash drawer and complete cashier documentation accurately
  • Follow Aramark’s cash handling policies and procedures
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar and work areas
  • Regularly sanitize equipment and ensure workplace cleanliness
  • Stock beverage coolers, food items, utensils, and sauces
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations during food and beverage preparation
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
