Job Duties

Comply with opening and closing tasks such as organizing provisions and equipment, cleaning all equipment and areas, securing doors
Organize, stock and maintain work areas
Enter orders into the cash register system and process customer payments
Take orders, enter them in the MICROS system and prepare food and coffee
Ensure appliances such as coffee machines are turned on and off at appropriate times
Clean tables and coffee cart areas
Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day
Obtain the necessary change for expected transaction levels
Compute cash register at the end of the shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, deliver receipts and secure the cash
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
Complete safety training and certifications
Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance
Protect company information privacy and assets
Support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
Assist the team to achieve common goals
Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
Move, lift, transport, push, pull and place objects under 25 pounds without assistance
Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods or entire shifts
Read and visually verify information in various formats
Inspect tools, equipment or machinery for defects
Grasp, turn and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
Reach above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting, crawling and stooping
Move through narrow, confined or elevated spaces
Ascend and descend stairs and/or service ramps
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Speak clearly and professionally with others
Answer telephone calls using proper etiquette
Perform other reasonable work-related tasks as assigned by supervisors
