The Coffee Attendant/Barista Pool position within the College Relations department is a part-time, non-exempt role offering an hourly wage from $13.00 to $16.00. The role serves as an integral part of the campus experience by promoting coffee consumption and providing exceptional service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This position requires a proactive and customer-oriented attitude, as the barista not only prepares and serves a variety of coffee beverages but also educates customers about coffee options and brewing methods. The barista operates coffee grinding and brewing equipment and handles accessories and supplies necessary for high-quality beverage preparation. Additionally, the role involves selling pre-made food items and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

This position requires an individual who is capable of multitasking, with the ability to perform diverse tasks during each shift—from merchandising and stocking to sanitizing equipment and managing cash transactions.
