Job Requirements

Proven work experience as a server or in a similar role
One year bartender/server in a luxury setting preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Proven work experience as a server or in a similar role

Job Duties

Take and fulfill guest beverage requests in a timely and accurate manner
Address and resolve all customer problems in an efficient and effective manner
Responsible for maintaining high product knowledge
Bus tables as necessary
Maintain cleanliness of all Polo Lounge and surrounding areas
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Ensure tips are reported correctly for tax processing
Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by taking steps such as discontinuing alcohol service and notifying management of potential problem(s)
Ensure compliance with state and federal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages
