Job Requirements
- Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and move efficiently and safely throughout the entire facility during each shift
- Capability to bend, stoop, and kneel as needed
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must be courteous and maintain a pleasant demeanor
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of serving experience in a fast-paced food and beverage venue
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods, and garnishments preferred
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Must be able to speak fluent English
- Courteous, pleasant, and good-natured personality
- Strong communication skills for interaction with guests and staff
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the employee handbook
- Anticipate and accommodate all the needs of the guests
- Use proper service protocol by serving drinks to the guest's right using the right hand
- Carry a tray efficiently
- Describe all drinks, specialty cocktails, wine, and beer comprehensively
- Provide professional and exceptional service
- Ensure delivery of all beverages to the guests
- Maintain general cleanliness of assigned stations and entire venue
- Follow supervisor's instructions and support co-workers as a team player
- Possess in-depth knowledge of all food and beverage menus
- Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with state regulations and alcohol awareness training standards
- Follow all company procedures when providing bottle service
- Adhere to proper cash and payment card procedures
- Comply with Department of Health and company sanitation standards
- Communicate guest needs to front-of-house and heart-of-house staff, managers, and chefs
- Properly set up cocktail lounge/bar and side stations and perform side-work including ensuring all lounge furniture is clean
- Perform opening and closing side-work as instructed
- Report all breakage or damage of equipment or furniture to management immediately
- Attend daily pre-shift meetings and training sessions
- Learn by observing and sharing knowledge while leading by example
- Portray a positive and professional attitude
- Demonstrate knowledge of Live! Hospitality, its partners, and estate
- Work as part of a team and provide support to all team members
