Job Requirements
- Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
- prior bartending experience in high volume or fast casual dining restaurant environment preferred
- ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- frequently immerse hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions
- demonstrate ability to speak and understand English
- willingness to follow alcohol awareness procedures
- commitment to excellent customer service
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- adhere to cash handling policies
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of closely related bartending experience
- knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits as well as their preparation and presentation
- ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
- cash handling and customer service experience preferred
Job Duties
- Greet customers and take food orders
- provide information about products and look for opportunity to up-sell products
- follow recipes and/or product directions for mixing beverages
- collect payments and operate cash registers for drinks and/or food served following company established cash handling policies and procedures for all transactions
- secure all monies at the end of each shift
- follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and deal with intoxicated guests
- ensure a clean, sanitized and well stocked bar
