This role is for a Club Porter position within FLIK Hospitality, a division of Compass Group. The Club Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the front of the house to ensure an exceptional guest experience. This position is essential for the smooth operation of dining areas, including tables, counters, floors, windows, and beverage stations. The Club Porter works closely with the service team to keep spaces tidy during peak service times and prepares the area before service begins. The hourly pay rate for this position is $26.50, and the company offers free meals, uniforms, and laundering service at select locations. This job is immediately available and includes in-person interviews at upcoming hiring events.
In this role, associates will be responsible for bussing tables, clearing and cleaning floors, washing dishes and cooking equipment, and maintaining proper sanitation consistent with HACCP standards. Additional responsibilities include assisting with receiving heavy deliveries, following safety protocols, and ensuring all equipment is clean and in compliance with safety standards. Club Porters must demonstrate a personal commitment to safety, follow proper use of protective gloves and footwear, and comply with all company policies and procedures. Job Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying heavy items
- Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must follow all safety and sanitary procedures
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to work well in a team environment
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role or in foodservice is an asset
- Ability to follow safety procedures and sanitation standards
- Strong work ethic and reliability

Job Duties
- Ensures tables are bussed, cleared and cleaned and floors are cleared and swept during peak service times and are prepped prior to service
- Follows safety procedures when transporting dishes and utensils from the front of the house to the kitchen area using trays, bus tubs or carts
- Washes dishes, glasses and pots
- cleans cooking stations and equipment to expedite a smooth flow of service while maintaining sanitation standards
- Scrapes and rinses food from dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment
- Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation
- Keeps display equipment clean, free of debris and in compliance with all safety and sanitation standards during meal service
- Helps receive heavy deliveries from dock and transports them to assigned storage areas while observing all safe lifting standards
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures
