The position available is a full-time, non-management role within the Rooms & Guest Services Operations category at the Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes. This role involves controlling seating availability, service quality, security, and the overall well-being of guests in the club lounge. The responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and good condition of the bar area, furniture, tables, and equipment, preparing and serving hot, cold, and alcoholic beverages, and ensuring the bar is stocked with ice, glassware, and provisions. This role requires anticipating replenishment needs and communicating them promptly, washing dishes and kitchen utensils when necessary, and handling all opening and closing duties effectively.

Additionally, the position entails securing liquors, beers, wines, refrigerators, cabinets, and storage areas as well as documenting relevant departmental information. Adeptly managing extra food requests and communicating special needs to the kitchen team will also be required. Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management is an important part of the job, along with adhering strictly to company policies and procedures. Employees in this position must maintain a professional appearance and uniform, protect proprietary information, and safeguard company assets. Engaging warmly with guests according to company standards, anticipating their service needs, assisting guests with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation also constitute key elements of the role.

Furthermore, all communication within the team and with guests must be clear and professional, including phone etiquette and written communication. Supporting a positive work environment by fostering harmonious labor relationships and working collectively towards shared goals is expected. Employees will ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and perform physical activities such as moving, lifting, pushing, or dragging objects up to 25 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods during the workday. Reasonable additional duties may be assigned by supervisors as necessary.
