In this role, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. This full-time position requires a candidate with strong Linux system administration expertise, particularly in server and desktop environments, as well as a comprehensive understanding of cloud services and infrastructure management. The successful candidate will support local Linux desktops, aid in the maintenance and deployment of cloud-in-a-box (Nutanix) infrastructures, and manage cloud-based resources primarily on AWS. Key responsibilities include providing workstation and server support, addressing local and remote network troubleshooting, and implementing infrastructure automation tools such as Puppet and IPA. The role involves hands-on hardware deployment duties and demands proficiency with the Linux command line and scripting tools.

Candidates should possess a DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or be willing to obtain one shortly after hire, alongside a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience in network troubleshooting and familiarity with DevOps methodologies are highly desired. Additionally, knowledge of Kubernetes, Ansible, and cloud-in-a-box solutions would be advantageous. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and does not involve any travel.
