The role of Clinical Nurse Manager for the Surgical Oncology Unit (7HS) at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia Presbyterian is a full-time night position that requires strong leadership and clinical skills. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • NYS RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience
  • BCLS certification
  • Demonstrates affective interpersonal communication
  • Demonstrates understanding of customer service principles
  • Clinical expertise within field or specialty
  • Ability to work full-time night shifts
  • Must live within commutable distance to hospital
  • Commitment to on-site presence

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • NYS RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience
  • Proven leadership experience as charge nurse or supervisor preferred
  • Master’s degree in nursing preferred
  • Previous acute care experience preferred
  • Clinical expertise within surgical oncology field
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Understanding of customer service principles
