Job Requirements

  • Graduate of a registered nursing program
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical patient care experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare leadership experience
  • Registered nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of employment or a compact state
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
  • Willingness to relocate
  • Availability to work full time
  • Ability to work a schedule of 5 days - 8 hours

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of a registered nursing program
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
  • Master's degree in nursing, health administration, business administration, or related advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical patient care experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare leadership
  • Registered nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required

Job Duties

  • Implementing and monitoring programs and practices for the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care for patients and their families
  • Ensuring consistent application of nursing services policies and standards throughout the organization
  • Monitoring patient outcomes and quality and effectiveness of nursing care
  • Overseeing performance of teams
  • identifying and addressing staff training and development needs
  • Apprising medical staff, department heads, and administrators in matters related to nursing service and strategies
  • Creating, monitoring and analyzing a budget and explaining variance
  • Conducting evaluations on personnel performance and recommending improvement plans
