Job Requirements
- Graduate of a registered nursing program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical patient care experience
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare leadership experience
- Registered nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of employment or a compact state
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Willingness to relocate
- Availability to work full time
- Ability to work a schedule of 5 days - 8 hours
Job Qualifications
- Graduate of a registered nursing program
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required
- Master's degree in nursing, health administration, business administration, or related advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical patient care experience
- Minimum of 2 years of healthcare leadership
- Registered nurse (RN) license in good standing
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required
Job Duties
- Implementing and monitoring programs and practices for the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care for patients and their families
- Ensuring consistent application of nursing services policies and standards throughout the organization
- Monitoring patient outcomes and quality and effectiveness of nursing care
- Overseeing performance of teams
- identifying and addressing staff training and development needs
- Apprising medical staff, department heads, and administrators in matters related to nursing service and strategies
- Creating, monitoring and analyzing a budget and explaining variance
- Conducting evaluations on personnel performance and recommending improvement plans
