The role focuses on managing and improving the clinical and operational functions of dialysis facilities to deliver exceptional patient care while ensuring regulatory compliance. This position involves coordinating multiple departments, overseeing patient scheduling, maintaining thorough documentation, and managing quality outcomes programs aligning with corporate goals. The individual in this role works closely with medical directors, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams, playing a vital role in achieving timely patient treatments and minimizing hospitalizations. Job Requirements

Must have relevant healthcare experience
Knowledge of federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
Ability to work collaboratively with medical and administrative staff
Strong organizational and leadership skills
Willingness to assume additional responsibilities such as Charge Nurse or Alternate CEO when needed
Effective communication skills
Ability to handle emergency situations
Commitment to promoting quality patient care
Proficient in maintaining accurate records and reporting
Flexible to perform operational and clinical duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or related field preferred
Previous experience in dialysis or nephrology clinical settings
Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations
Demonstrated ability in staff supervision and development
Proficiency in clinical documentation and quality improvement practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple departments and coordinate patient care services
Experience with emergency procedures in healthcare facilities
Familiarity with dialysis equipment and water treatment systems
Capability to lead and maintain compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Duties

Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations and missed treatments
Assist with planning and coordinating patient scheduling to assure timely acceptance of patients and effective staffing levels
Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours
Responsible for updating all logs and ensuring that dialysis run sheets and logs are sent to billing
Perform duties as assigned to meet the patient care or operational needs of the clinic
Coordinate the functions of all departments and develop standards and methods of measuring patient care services
Work with Administrator to maintain chronological, thorough, and appropriate documentation in the patient record of all treatments, activities, and communication
Promote quality management program through education and involvement of staff and patients
Assist with program's target goals for patient outcomes in accordance with quality patient care and company goals
Review all incident reports, make recommendations, and take appropriate actions
Work with Administrator to assure clinic compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Assist Administrator with development, implementation, and follow up of Corrective Action Plans for internal and external surveys
Assume Charge Nurse's responsibilities as needed
Fulfill responsibility of facility Alternate CEO as delegated
Conduct and participate in meetings with governing body, Regional Director, Medical Director, and staff
Establish, maintain, and submit records and reports concerning staff, patients, and operational affairs
Monitor and maintain a safe and sanitary physical environment
Oversee maintenance of equipment and supplies to meet laws and regulations
Respond to emergencies and be familiar with emergency equipment and procedures
Supervise maintenance of equipment and building areas
Understand water treatment and equipment mechanisms
Assist with disinfection of equipment and supplies
Maintain collaborative working relationships with Medical Director and physicians
Establish positive relationships with Administrators, hospitals, agencies, vendors, and community
Promote GUEST customer service standards
Respond effectively to inquiries or complaints
Ensure all staff meet required qualifications and perform duties within policy and regulations
Serve as a resource for patient needs, staff education, and in-service sessions
Assist with recruitment, training, development, and supervision of personnel
Maintain effective personnel management and employee relations
Uphold management goals by leading team concepts and promoting team effort
Effectively communicate expectations and hold accountability.
