Joining LVHN means becoming part of a forward-thinking, nationally recognized organization that fosters a vibrant, dynamic, and diverse workforce. The organization prioritizes teamwork, compassion, and the incorporation of cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional healthcare experiences. Whether you are seeking your first job in healthcare or a new chapter in your career, LVHN offers an inspiring environment with abundant opportunities for professional growth and meaningful impact.
The Clinical Concierge - Medical Assistant role at LVHN plays an indispensable role in enhancing the patient experience by serving as the initial point of contact within the Family & Internal Medicine ExpressCare department at the Health Center at Bethlehem Township. This part-time, day-shift position, with weekend and holiday rotation, focuses on delivering exceptional patient care coordination and support. The role seamlessly integrates administrative, clinical, and clerical responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency and optimize healthcare delivery. As a Clinical Concierge, you engage directly with patients, facilitating smooth check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate registration, verifying insurance, collecting payments, coordinating appointments, and maintaining meticulous electronic medical records.
Beyond administrative duties, this position involves vital clinical tasks such as measuring vital signs, assisting providers by gathering critical patient health information, managing exam rooms, preparing lab specimens, and administering medications and vaccinations per provider orders. The role demands exceptional interpersonal skills, empathy, and professionalism to build trusting relationships with patients and their families while ensuring compliance with medical protocols and quality standards.
The position requires proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment by efficiently managing changing priorities. Candidates are expected to hold a specialized diploma as a Medical Assistant or completion of a recognized medical assistant training program, coupled with certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment. Preferred qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Medical Assisting and certifications such as CCMA, CMA, or equivalent, along with previous healthcare customer service experience. Physical demands include the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, frequent sitting and standing, keyboard use, and performing clinical activities such as kneeling or bending when necessary.
By joining LVHN as a Clinical Concierge - Medical Assistant, you become part of a team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and technologically advanced setting, contributing directly to the health and well-being of the community.
