Job Requirements
- Possess basic written and verbal communication skills computational and computer skills and mathematical knowledge at level typically acquired through completion of a general studies high school program
- Associates degree or technical certificate preferred
- One year of customer service experience utilizing data entry skills preferably in medical or dental office setting
- Experience dealing with underserved populations and cultural competency a plus
- Proficiency and familiarity with payment systems and Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Keyboarding speed of 35-40 wpm and data entry skills accuracy is essential
- Demonstrates proficiency with electronic clinical systems including EMR and scheduling systems

Job Duties
- Provide a welcoming and positive check-in experience to patients and visitors
- Manage appointment scheduling and clinic patient flow
- Accurately enter data and process payment transactions
- Demonstrate proficiency with electronic clinical systems including EMR and scheduling software
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and community members
- Support collaborative team efforts and uphold organizational values
- Occasional coverage for Saturday clinic shifts in Bellingham
