Job Requirements

  • High school graduation or GED
  • One year of experience as receptionist with light typing preferred

Job Duties

  • Manages the telephone switchboard
  • Receives incoming calls, determines the nature of the calls, transfers calls to appropriate people, takes and relays messages, places long distance calls, maintains an updated intercom listing and makes general announcements over the intercom
  • Receives incoming visitors to CNS
  • Screens visitors and requests, determines nature of the visit, locates the appropriate person, provides information requested and takes/delivers written and verbal messages to appropriate personnel
  • Handles mailing procedures
  • Maintains office supplies
  • Conducts two-way radio transmissions with transportation as needed
