The Client Concierge role at Chewy Vet Care is a vital position within the Healthcare Practice Team. This full-time role centers on creating positive and memorable experiences for pet parents while supporting veterinary professionals on the clinical team. As the first point of contact at the practice, the Client Concierge manages patient intakes and delivers outstanding front-end customer service. Strong communication, empathy, and social skills are essential to effectively engage with clients and address their needs promptly. The role also involves utilizing integrated practice management technology, following standardized procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. In addition, the Client Concierge assists with inventory communication and ensures compliance with pharmacy responsibilities. Job Requirements
- Standing or walking up to 80% per shift
- Frequently lift up to 50 to 70 pounds using an optional team lift
- Occasionally lift greater than 70+ pounds using a team lift
- Stand, push, pull, carry, squat, and kneel
- 1-2 years working in a customer-focused environment, veterinary preferred
- Strong ability to connect with clients and demonstrate empathy and compassion
- Excellent social, verbal/written communication, observational, and analytical skills
- Passionate about helping people and pets with empathy and excellent customer service focus
- Thrives in a fast-paced, self-starter environment
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years working in a customer-focused environment, veterinary preferred
- Strong ability to connect with clients and demonstrate empathy and compassion
- Excellent social, verbal/written communication, observational, and analytical skills
- Passionate about helping people and pets with empathy and excellent customer service focus
- Thrives in a fast-paced, self-starter environment
Job Duties
- Focus on embodying the Chewy Vet Care culture to work collaboratively with peers and deliver the pet parent WOW experience within the practice
- Provide stellar service and communication to support veterinarians, veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and practice manager
- Handle all patient intakes and manage front-end client-facing interactions
- Use strong social and communication skills to engage actively with pet parents
- Perform customer service to assist pet parents with providing medical care and resolve issues promptly
- Apply integrated technology including proficiency with the Practice Information Management System (PIMS)
- Follow the practice’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standards of Care (SOC)
- Act responsibly given the pharmacy holdings
- Assist Practice Manager with communicating inventory needs
- Clean workspaces after every patient interaction
- Participate in self-development courses and required compliance training
- Perform related duties and assignments as directed by management
- May be required to work weekends and some travel may be necessary
