The Class B Truck Driver position at ProDrivers offers a unique and meaningful opportunity for drivers interested in a local, stable role focused on delivering medical equipment and supplies. This role is especially suited for individuals who thrive in structured routes and appreciate consistent schedules, interacting directly with customers in healthcare settings such as hospitals, clinics, and patient homes. Drivers are entrusted with these sensitive items and expected to deliver them with utmost professionalism and safety.
In this heavy-touch delivery role, drivers will be responsible not only for transportation but also for managing the physical aspects of moving heavy boxes and equipment repeatedly throughout their routes. Stair climbers and electric pallet jacks are provided to assist when necessary, ensuring that the delivery process is as safe and efficient as possible. The role demands a strong customer service mindset alongside technical skill, calling for drivers who can deliver products with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Schedules are structured for Monday through Friday with routes typically beginning around 7 AM and lasting 10 to 12 hours daily. While the core schedule is weekday-centric, some Saturdays may be required to meet delivery needs. Route lengths and workdays adjust based on required delivery windows, providing a dynamic yet stable work environment. This role is ideal for dependable truck drivers eager to contribute directly to healthcare operations and patient well-being through timely and careful delivery of medical supplies.
The compensation for this position ranges from $1100 to $1600 per week, reflecting the specialized nature of the delivery work. Additionally, ProDrivers offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, and an IRA plan, supporting both the health and financial security of their workforce.
