The CDL-A Driver position at PFG Customized Distribution is an essential role focused on helping maintain the country’s food supply chain with dependable and timely food and food service delivery. Drivers in this role operate tractor trailers or straight trucks across intrastate and interstate routes, including local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight routes. Responsibilities include delivering and unloading food products safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies. Drivers represent the face of PFG to the customers and are expected to build lasting relationships by providing professional, courteous service.

The routes are a combination of solo and team assignments and include out-of-state layovers twice per week, making it a diverse driving experience. Equipment is modern, comprised mostly of newer automatic trucks with features such as ramp work and handling touch freight or mixed pallets. A CDL Class A license with no K restrictions is required. Drivers must meet a weekly minimum earning requirement of $1,540, paid bi-weekly, making it a competitive opportunity for individuals seeking steady income and growth within a reputable company.
