We are currently seeking an entry-level Driver Trainee to join our team. This role is designed for individuals eager to begin or build a career in professional driving within the food distribution industry. The Driver Trainee will receive comprehensive training through PFG's Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience driving tractor trailers or straight trucks on various routes, including local, over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight deliveries.

The primary responsibility of the Driver Trainee is to safely transport and unload food and related products to a wide range of customers while adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies. The role requires close collaboration with a driver trainer to ensure a thorough and safe learning experience. Trainees will learn how to perform essential vehicle safety checks, handle freight loading and unloading, complete accurate paperwork, and maintain communication with customers and the team.
