The Driver, Hourly CDL-A position at Core-Mark is a vital role within the company's food supply chain operations. This role involves operating tractor trailers or straight trucks for intrastate and interstate deliveries, including local, over-the-road, shuttle, and overnight routes. The driver is responsible for ensuring that food and related products arrive at customer locations safely, on time, and in excellent condition. This position offers competitive pay with a minimum weekly earning target of $1384.62, contingent upon meeting minimum weekly requirements discussed during the interview. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with a unique 4-day work week, with dispatch times between 3:00 AM and 6:00 AM, allowing for a balanced work-life routine. The driver is also accountable for accurate completion of daily records, including hours of service logs in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
