The CDL A Driver position based out of Rice, MN, presents an exciting career opportunity for individuals eager to embark on an entry-level driving career within a company that values safety, professional growth, and employee well-being. This full-time role offers early morning dispatch schedules, typically four to five days each week from Monday through Saturday, with no Sunday work requirements, supporting work-life balance. Drivers may experience multiple night layovers, with company-paid hotel accommodations and a food stipend provided to ensure comfort and convenience on extended routes.

Trainees receive comprehensive support by riding along with experienced drivers, assisting in deliveries, and mastering essential skills such as vehicle inspection, freight handling, and accurate paperwork completion.

Compensation for this position is competitive, with a minimum daily pay of $320 plus additional components based on cases, miles, and stops. In addition to financial rewards, PFG offers its drivers a package of benefits including Day 1 Health and Wellness benefits, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan, 401K employer matching, education assistance, paid time off, and other incentives designed to nurture employee success and satisfaction.

Beyond operational duties, drivers cultivate professional relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers, providing courteous and efficient service consistent with company standards. This inclusive role offers extensive opportunities for growth within the transportation sector, reinforcing PFG's reputation for fostering safe, respectful, and rewarding workplaces. Individuals in this position play a critical role in supporting America's food distribution system, ensuring timely and safe delivery of essential goods that keep communities and businesses running smoothly.
