The company has a strong reputation for empowering its customers, employees, and communities by providing fresh and broad-line solutions through a wide network of distribution centers across the United States and Canada. Core-Mark’s commitment to growth, diversity, and providing safe and inclusive working environments has positioned it as an industry leader in food distribution and related services.

Core-Mark proudly offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits including day one health and wellness benefits, an employee stock purchase plan, 401K employer matching, education assistance, paid time off, and more. These offerings reinforce the company's commitment to support and reward its workforce, creating a culture rooted in rewards, recognition, respect, and career growth. The company takes pride in its equal employment opportunity policies which embrace diversity across all aspects of employment and maintain compliance with all relevant laws to foster an equitable workplace.

The Delivery Driver role at Core-Mark is an essential position supporting America’s food supply chain by ensuring food and food-related products are delivered safely, timely, and in excellent condition. These drivers serve as the face of the company, building lasting relationships with customers, and contributing to the continued success and reputation of Core-Mark within the convenience retail industry. The job offers a home daily schedule, with Tuesday through Saturday shifts available in both AM and PM, providing flexibility for employees. The position also offers competitive compensation with potential annual earnings up to $95,000, underscoring Core-Mark's valuation of this critical role.

Delivery Drivers are responsible for operating tractor-trailers or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate local, shuttle, overnight, and drive and drop routes. They ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations by performing comprehensive pre and post-trip inspections, verifying the secure loading and condition of freight, and safely transporting goods to customers. Drivers are meticulous in completing required paperwork accurately and legibly and must maintain open, professional communication with customers, vendors, and co-workers to resolve inquiries promptly and effectively.

This role goes beyond driving as drivers assist in unloading products into designated customer storage locations, perform damage control checks, and handle cash or check collections when required. Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards by reporting hazards, securing the tractor and trailer, and completing all necessary DOT logs and daily paperwork. Drivers also participate in general housekeeping of the tractor and loading dock areas to ensure cleanliness and operational efficiency. The position requires physical handling of freight using equipment like two-wheelers and lift gates to maneuver product cases that generally weigh between 10 to 35 pounds, sometimes reaching up to 60 to 90 pounds, depending on the location.

Core-Mark’s Delivery Driver position offers not only a career in a stable and growth-oriented environment but also a chance to be part of a nationally respected company that values safety, integrity, service excellence, and community engagement. Employees enjoy substantial benefits and opportunities for advancement in a culture that celebrates teamwork and mutual respect.
