Job Description

Koch Trucking is a family-owned company with over 40 years of experience in the transportation industry, operating as one of six divisions under Koch Companies. The company is dedicated to providing reliable and efficient truckload freight hauling, logistics, warehousing, and truck/trailer leasing services. Known for its driver-focused approach, Koch Trucking has built a reputation for creating a supportive and balanced working environment for its drivers, promoting steady routes that ensure a good work-life balance. They have been recognized for their excellence in workplace culture, including accolades such as the 2025 Top Company for Women to Work for in Transportation by the Women in Trucking Association and being named a Top 200 Workplace by the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Koch Trucking is actively seeking Class A CDL drivers to join their dedicated division. These positions are for drivers based in Minneapolis, MN; Bolingbrook, IL; and Madison, WI who will benefit from dedicated dry van fleet routes that ensure consistent, steady miles and familiarity with their routes and customers. The driving role includes majority drop and hook freight that is no-touch, which allows drivers to focus on driving without the need to manually handle freight, enhancing safety and efficiency. Starting pay is competitive at $0.70 per mile, with a guaranteed weekly minimum of $1,500, and drivers will complete round trips between Chaska, MN and the Chicagoland area, working Monday through Friday to maximize time at home.

Additional incentives include a $1,500 hiring bonus paid monthly over the first year and all-expenses-paid orientation held in luxury hotels located in Roseville, MN and Appling, GA, designed to provide a comfortable and welcoming start. Koch Trucking emphasizes driver comfort with an average truck fleet age of just 16 months, including modern Volvo 860 and Freightliner Cascadia trucks, equipped with features such as refrigerators, leather interiors, double curtain wraps, double bunks, built-in inverters, and other driver-friendly amenities. The company culture is strongly family-oriented and driver-centered, ensuring that being part of Koch means receiving respect and benefits that prioritize drivers' quality of life.

Drivers accrue paid time off starting from day one, enjoy three floating holidays per year, and access to comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Other perks include a free iPad with a data package for staying connected, a pet and rider policy, 401K with company match, 24/7/365 road service assistance, a $3,000 referral bonus, and access to a drivers lounge offering essentials such as soap, shampoo, towels, toothbrush and toothpaste, laundry soap, pizza, and sandwiches. Koch Trucking encourages experienced company drivers, owner-operators, military veterans, and women to apply, promoting an inclusive and supportive driving environment.

Overall, this CDL-A driver role with Koch Trucking offers a combination of steady, home-time-focused driving opportunities, modern equipment, and comprehensive benefits within a reputable and well-established transportation company that values its drivers as family.
