Job Description

Four Seasons is an internationally renowned luxury hospitality company that operates a network of premier hotels and resorts around the world. Known for its commitment to exceptional service and delivering unforgettable guest experiences, Four Seasons has built a reputation for excellence and innovation in the hospitality industry. With locations across major cities and exotic destinations, Four Seasons blends luxury, comfort, and personalized care to cater to its discerning clientele. The company culture is centered around respect, inclusivity, and career development, ensuring a rewarding employee experience that drives the high standards for guest satisfaction.

Situated in downtown Austin, the Four Seasons Hotel Austin is a unique lakeside retreat that reflects the eclectic spirit and vibe of the city. Located on the banks of Lady Bird Lake, this luxury hotel offers 286 guest rooms and suites, two acclaimed restaurants (Ciclo and Live Oak), a sumptuous spa, and over 17,000 square feet of event space. As one of Austin’s pioneering luxury hotels, it is well-known for legendary hospitality, well-appointed accommodations, and a dynamic calendar of seasonal events and culinary offerings that keep guests returning time and again.

The Four Seasons Hotel Austin is seeking a dedicated Host to join its Food & Beverage Team. In this pivotal role, the Host will be responsible for representing the restaurant’s first and last impression to guests, playing an integral part in shaping a welcoming and memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving guests with warmth and professionalism, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a cooperative spirit as success depends on the seamless teamwork between the front-of-house staff, kitchen, and management teams.

The Host will greet customers upon arrival, manage seating arrangements, assist with reservation management, and provide guests with a smooth and enjoyable visit from start to finish. Experience with MICROS point-of-sale systems is preferred, though not mandatory, and prior work in food and beverage services will be beneficial. Essential certifications such as TABC and Food Handlers are required, and candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. In return for your commitment, Four Seasons offers a range of benefits designed to support your well-being, professional growth, and work-life balance.

As part of the Four Seasons team, you will have access to exceptional benefits including comprehensive health insurance, room night stays at Four Seasons locations worldwide, discounted transportation options, and more. The hotel operates 24/7, 365 days a year, so flexibility in working hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, will be expected. Four Seasons proudly fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace where every individual is valued, promoting a culture that upholds the Golden Rule and encourages the growth and development of its employees.

Join Four Seasons Hotel Austin as a Host and become part of a premier luxury hospitality team delivering truly extraordinary experiences that leave lasting impressions with every guest encounter.
