Job Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of Food and Beverage, Hotel/Hospitality, Club or Full-Service Restaurant experience
  • Valid TABC or state-approved Alcohol/Liquor certification
  • Valid ServSafe or state-approved Food Handler's certification
  • Excellent customer service, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English

Job Duties

  • Ensure all dining spaces are cleaned and sanitized by removing used glassware and returning it to the bar, restocking and inventory management when applicable
  • Support servers in preparing the dining area and table sets, including taking orders, delivering food and beverages and bussing tables
  • Work with colleagues, including kitchen staff and bar staff to ensure timely service
  • Follow health and safety regulations, and ensure proper presentation and quality standards
  • Communicate with guests, respond to customer requests and complaints to assure service excellence
  • Answer questions, make recommendations, and accommodate special requests
  • Complete closing duties such as storing, breaking down, and cleaning equipment, provide feedback to supervisors
