- ability to work autonomously on a designated station

- solid foundational knowledge of pastry terminology, baking skills, and food safety protocols
- physical stamina to stand for extended periods, bend, work in high-temperature environments, climb stairs, and lift/carry up to 35 pounds
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Prepares, bakes, and presents daily menu items and specialized orders adhering to recipe specifications, portion controls, and presentation guidelines
- conducts daily prep work and builds stations
- checks in with supervisor before each shift to coordinate daily menu counts, build-to sheets, and special guest requests
- maintains a smooth, timely flow of pastry orders by communicating clearly with line cooks and front-of-house staff
- verifies all special orders or dietary restrictions with supervisor to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
- closes, cleans, and sanitizes the station according to health codes while organizing ingredients and prep lists for next day
- tracks and controls daily and weekly station inventories to minimize food waste
- uses production and order sheets accurately to maintain awareness of product costs and prevent over-preparation
- monitors ingredient levels and communicates order shortages or supply needs to head cook or supervisor
- upholds all health and sanitation standards
- maintains a clean, safe, and organized workstation
- inspects kitchen equipment daily and reports malfunctions
- adheres to luxury grooming standards including personal hygiene and uniform maintenance
- arrives on time, fully dressed and prepared
- punches in/out accurately and coordinates meal breaks
- follows restaurant procedures for schedule changes and coordinates time-off requests
