We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef Manager to join our team. This key role reports directly to the General Manager and requires a hands-on approach in overseeing kitchen operations. The Chef Manager will be responsible for training and managing kitchen staff, coordinating culinary activities, and supervising food preparation to ensure top-quality cuisine and exceptional customer experiences. In addition to culinary expertise, the successful candidate will emphasize safety protocols, kitchen sanitation, and client relations, while also playing a pivotal role in managing budgets and executing company programs efficiently.

This position is ideal for an individual who is committed to delivering excellence in both food quality and service, who can lead and inspire their team, and who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced hospitality environment. Job Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a related position
  • 2-3 years of post-high school education or equivalent experience
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession
  • Experiential knowledge of management of people and or problems
  • Oral, reading and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Train and manage kitchen personnel and supervise coordinate all related culinary activities
  • Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food
  • Select and develop recipes as well as standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality
  • Establish presentation technique and quality standards, and plan and price menus
  • Ensure proper equipment operation maintenance and ensure proper safety and sanitation in kitchen
  • Oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and or demonstrates culinary techniques
  • Manage budget requirements and execute company-delivered programs
